What is A Hostel?
By definition, a hostel is a form of low-cost, short-term shared lodging where guests, most often young travelers, can rent a bed in a shared dormitory or private room (depending on the hostel). Hostels have shared use of a lounge area and sometimes a kitchen. Rooms can be mixed or single-sex and have private or shared bathrooms. Simply put they are a type of shared accommodation that makes your budget go further as a traveler.
